Student story

Student story

Name: Sukhdeep Singh Garcha

Course studied: FdSc Motorsports

''I came to Myerscough as its motorsports team is a professional outfit with workshops and facilities to match. I was very impressed with the College's race cars and the number of events they compete in. The teaching staff also impressed me as they all have industry experience, which I thought was important. The College has a friendly atmosphere and, as a residential student, I found it easy to make friends when I first came here. The social life is also really good and that’s all down to the Student's Association, which is excellent. This made the transition in moving away from home easy for me. On the course you get good hands-on experience as the College has lots of race cars competing in different events throughout the year. When I graduate, I hope to get a job with a race team, and I am sure the College’s reputation and links with the industry will help me in the future.''
