What will I learn?

This course aims to raise awareness in equality and diversity within the workplace, home and wider community. You will study Equality and diversity in a variety of environments, how stereotyping and labelling affects individuals, effects of prejudice and discrimination, examine rights and responsibilities. This is delivered via distance learning.

Assessments will be marked by an allocated tutor who will provide you with detailed feedback. You will be assessed against criteria where all learning outcomes of the course have to be covered; your tutor will give you guidance for this. Assessments must be completed by the target dates agreed at enrolment.

On completion, you could progress to: Level 3 Principles of Equality and Diversity or Level 3 Managing Equality and Diversity. Relevant employment opportunities are available in: Youth work; Community Development work; Health and Social Care; Customer service; Early years care and Education.
