What will I learn?

Work towards a career in Conveyancing with the Level 4 Diploma qualification can help you to achieve your goal.

On gaining this qualification you will be able to play an important role in helping people to buy and sell their properties.

Whether you have knowledge and experience of the sector, or you are looking to embark on a new career route, our Level 4 Diploma will give you the skills and expertise needed to work in a legal services role.

You can pay for and study on a unit by unit basis but to gain the complete qualification you will need to pass all 5 units*:

  • The English Legal System (£550)
  • Law of Contract (£675)
  • Land Law (£675)
  • Standard Conveyancing Transactions (£675)
  • Understanding Accounting Procedures for Conveyancing Transactions (£675)

For learners enrolling on all 5 modules simultaneously, there is now a reduced price available. The total price is £2,925.00. Please note – as we are VAT exempt, we do not charge VAT on any of our course prices.

Final assessments come in the form of a written assessment under exam conditions or by assignment.

Qualifications are awarded by the national awarding organisation SQA.

*You may have exemptions from some of the qualification units. If you have previously completed some of the units of the qualification you will need to submit a certificate of prior learning to MOL in order to achieve the full Diploma. You may also be eligible for exemptions due to previous study which MOL can confirm for you.

What do I need to know?

This qualification is open to all and no previous experience, knowledge, skills or understanding of conveyancing procedure and practice are required. You do not need to be employed in a legal services job to study this qualification although Level 2 English and Mathematics qualifications may be helpful. This qualification is ideal for you if you want a career as a licenced conveyancer or want an in-depth knowledge of the profession to enhance your current career i.e. property agents.
